I am proud to announce I am the new Secretary on the Board of the 1 Voice Community Center here in Arizona. February 18 was my first official Board Meeting. I am looking forward to doing a lot of work for our community giving what I can. I encourage you to visit the 1VCC Web site at www.1VCC.org

MISSION:
One Voice Community Center serves as a cultural focal point uniting LGBT individuals and reinvests in the community by providing vital educational, social and wellness programs.
PURPOSE:
The purpose of 1 Voice Community Center is to enhance the development of existing LGBT organizations while filling in the program niches missing within the LGBT community. In addition, develop coalitions among the diverse LGBT organizations to more effectively research, education, outreach, plan, fund raise and more for the things that affect our community.

Horses and Dogs

I recently met the artist of a couple of my horse prints at the Scottsdale Arabian Horse show. Walking in I saw something familiar. One of the vendors had horse prints (imagine that). The style was one with which I was familiar. It was the same style as the two Arabian Prints I have in my home that my parents bought from the Reno Arabian Horse show 24 years ago!

I was surprised at not only seeing the prints, but being able to the artist herself, Carol Ratafia! What a treat!

Of course, I had to get the print of the Corgi!

I am, therefore I ponder

Sometimes it is best to do something without thought of consequence. At those times, it is usually best it was done that way. Usually, however, much thought should go in to a decision or plan.
Sometimes we think too much :)
