Leave a legacy to the world bi being true to yourself and others. Stand up for what you believe in and be strong to your values. Let no one rain on your parade.
I enjoyed this novel addressing an apocalyptic storyline. When the lights go out the women take initiative. Alice plays a great stabilizing force of nature and the voice of reason. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. The author did a great job of setting up the ending to jump into the next book.
Excellent book by Ann McMan. I loved the interplay between the characters. These two intellectuals at times lost in translation. The academic verbiage was a delight. The secondary characters made their mark - CK and Dean...who knew. Highly recommend.
Great book by a new author to me. I will be reading more from this author. Although this was a novella, I look forward to full-length features! Great characters, especially the mothers. I loved Brees assertiveness.
Good to the last word. I have loved reading all of Claire McNab's books and this latest was no exception. Carol is stellar and I thoroughly enjoy Aunt Sarah, Sybil, and Madeline. What would you do?
Excellent YA novel of two young women meeting in Australia. Tess and her friends struggle to help the annual festival survive. When all seems lost the new neighbor may have some friends of her own. Great book for High School students. Thank you to the author for writing stories for the YA crowd.
Great read about WACs and women's new roles. Serving in silence for women in the WAC was difficult and risky. You risked who you were, your career, and love. I appreciated the storyline between these two women from different worlds who have patriotism in common. A little slow in areas, but a fascinating read about the different airships.
Great book that won't disappoint. The characters, plot, and writing are awesome. The main characters were written realistically. Nothing was easy for these women who found communication a necessity. Stella's sister is one I wish I had in my corner and I'm sure we know people like Becky. The coworkers in the hospital seemed almost comically well done.
I liked the characters immediately and was finding myself frustrated on their behalf. I was not sure if the author was going to leave me hanging at the end.
Jae wrote an exceptional novel of two stubborn souls that can't help but make way to your heart. It's a non-stop read from start to finish. This author did not take the easy route but instead wrote a book that rocked my world.
Great story about two women who each have lost love in the past and are now on track to fin it again if they can just have faith. I enjoyed the read, but it did get a little mushy towards the end. I would have liked to know more about Ruth and Dana, too.
I am in mourning. There are no more in this series for me to enjoy. This author did a powerful job of creating a world/universe of people to fall in love with and appreciate. I have enjoyed reading this series of powerful women, empathic people, and a caring world for the past couple of months. I impressed with the character development and plot expansion. Bravo.
I have not been disappointed by this author yet! Another great series on the rise. I have more books in my future to look forward to reading. Fun-loving characters in a small English village where London and America meet in a small village. Highly recommend.
I have read the first three of this series and am taking a break before the next three. I have become so immersed in the stories I forgot on which planet I was living! The characters are well developed and the storylines are quite engaging. I am not usually into sci-fi, but this has been page-turning.
I enjoyed reading this great book by Anne Hagan. It combined the mysterious "what ifs" and the courtroom drama that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I look forward to additional books in this series to see how Ro progresses.
Softball, construction, and a hospital team equals romance I choose Radclyffe as a go-to for something I know I will enjoy. This book was part of a series I had not read and didn't need to in order to appreciate the book. Feisty hospital admin meets closed off and hurt construction worker. No secrets in the Rivers community. Good fun Romance.
I received this book via Librarything.com. I enjoyed this poof of double O seven. It's nice to have a woman in thick of things. I recommend this book for a fun beach read. It makes a nice escape. There are many innuendos!
I received this book as a prize I won online. There is something about librarians. A wonderful story of a daughter who gets to know her dad after he's passed, a girl next door, and herself while falling on to chicken-
Politics, love, and intrigue A great book with fabulous characters that leads to a journal with many twists and turns. Julia is good for Evan. Stevie will give her mom a run for her money in a few years. I can't wait to read the next book.
Free book received. This was in a genre for Lesbian general fiction. I do not think it was the correct category. The main character is flawed, which is fine, but almost too flawed. I understood the historical aspects of racism and the sects that were involved in the OK bombing. Not my cup of tea. Writing was good. Plot left something to be desired.
This was an awesome story of a woman who finds her family, love, and new home on an island. The author did an amazing job of writing this beautiful story that I hope has more to come. Thank you.
This is a book about a woman professor who finds the love she thinks she deserves, has a child, realizes her wife is obsessive beyond reason and finds herself along the way.
I recently received a new version of a great classic, A Christmas Carol By Charles Dickens. This particular version is illustrated by Francine Haskins with an afterword by Kyra E. Hick. This version has wonderful illustrations that belong in everyone's collection. Thank you to Kyra E. Hick for bringing this to my attention so that I may share it. Francine Haskins brings to live a Christmas Carol for ALL to enjoy regardless of where we live.
A great new read by K.G. MacGregor. Again, she breathes life to characters who show us their flaws and we love them anyway. I was up past the night hours finishing a story that could not be put down. These characters possessed my thoughts until I gave them release. Thank you, K.G.!
T.B. Markinson has done it, again. Ains and her crew are together again and this time in a mock election. Patience is being tested. How much can they take? The author does a great job of creating a plot that keeps the reader going well past her bedtime. Great characters and storyline. The sex scenes were longer then I would have preferred. I like more left to my imagination. I look forward to the next book.
I enjoy the author's works. The author has built a team who are more like family. I love the psychologist character. A wee more sex than I would prefer. Good series.
Another great book by Ms. Ellen Hart. The focus is a little different than a lot of her books and she does it well. The characters are great and the plot is developed well. I always look forward to reading a Jane Lawless mystery and this one did not disappoint.
Great story, well written, that kept me reading well past my bedtime. The characters were well developed with the two main women having a yin and yang relationship. Together they try to piece together what has happened to their family. A great "who done it" that keeps you on the edge of your seat through the end.
I loved A Family Woman by T.B. Markinson. This was the next book in the series that I have been enjoying. The characters are great and I love Lizzie, although I think she gets picked upon a bit. I cannot wait to see the next in the series. Lizzie's character is one that I empathize with as my daughter does not get a lot of idioms. Sara and Lizzie do quite well together. I am looking forward to seeing how Lizzie handles teaching.
Great book. I had read the previous books in this series and it was good to see how it all began. Character development was awesome. Of course, Cori’s Mother and Aunt are always great for laughs. I love the line where Kat keeps Cori’s clothes to keep her from running. The philosophical debates between characters help to deepen understanding. Kat’s character is strong yets shows her vulnerabilities with her Art and Family. I highly recommend this book and the others in the series. Get to know Kat and Cori.
The GCLS 2018 Conference is in Las Vegas, July 4-8. The event brings together readers, fans, writers, editors, and publishers to celebrate the best in lesbian literature. I will be there. For those of you unfamiliar with the Golden Crown Literary Society, it's a great way to meet others interested in lesbian literature. Every year, the conference rotates. The con was in Portland, OR in 2014, New Orleans in 2015, Washington DC in 2016, and Chicago in 2017. The speakers and writing seminars are outstanding. GCLS info is athttp://www.goldencrown.org/
I look forward to seeing and meeting many of the authors that have given me so much reading pleasure and made an impact on my life.
Awesome action-filled police drama. A Page-turner. Edge of your seat. I can't wait to get the next in the series. The ending came too soon. I highly recommend this series.
An entertaining book that kept me hooked. I look forward to reading the next in the series. Exciting thriller, mystery, that had a shadow of Amistad Maupin. Characters were fun to follow and I could picture the area in SF the author took pains in researching to describe.
I read this in one sitting. Couldn't put it down. I would love to see these characters in a longer novel. Tyna came across as quite relatable. Thanks for the great read!

I am so glad I bought and read this book. I wasn't sure about the topic, but the author did a fantastic job. I appreciated the way she dealt with death and how the main characters each had a way of coping. The relationship between the two main characters while might be seen as taboo or certainly unique, was portrayed in a loving caring manner that had me rooting for them. I recommend this book highly.

Great fun and intriguing read. I enjoyed the characters and their builds. I saw much political sub text that I found thoughtful. A lot that could be seen as happening in today's societies. Thank you for the book/read. I look forward to more by this author. I have already read 5 of Ms. Winkes books.
